Whilst the Admin Bar in WordPress can be convenient for some people, for others, such as designers, it can become a pain.
If you’re modifying your site styles and being logged in is pushing the content down in order to display the admin bar, then disabling it could be for you.
It’s a lot easier than you might think aswell.
Follow our simple steps:
- Log in to the WordPress Admin Dashboard:
Hover over ‘Appearance’ and select ‘Editor’:
- At the right, select ‘Theme Functions’ (functions.php). When the editor loads up, paste the following code:show_admin_bar( false );
- Click on ‘Update File’
Your admin bar should no longer appear when you are logged into your WordPress blog.
